At Grow Wild! we specialize in growing native trees and shrubs as well as native plants, wildflowers and herbs for contract growing and various sized plant restoration projects as well as public and private native plant gardens.
Our plants are grown from seeds collected from local indigenous plants to ensure high survival rates. When our native plants are planted in suitable habitats they thrive because they are genetically adapted to the various climatic and soil conditions in our area.
We only take a small percentage of seed from wild native plants, collecting seed from many plants within a population to ensure high genetic diversity. This makes for healthier, stronger native plants.
Retail Orders
Grow Wild has always been a mostly wholesale company. That being said, the months of May and June are just too busy for us to continue to offer retail sales during that time.
We will be taking orders for retail sales as of June 24, for pickup/delivery after July 2, 2022.
- Retail minimum will continue to be $300, minimum 5 plants of each species (unless a tree or shrub), and retail prices apply unless wholesale minimums are met, and pick up will continue to be curbside.
- Delivery minimum is $1000, with delivery charges to be applied.
- We remain closed to drop-in sales and appointments are required.
We highly recommend Peterborough’s GreenUP Ecology Park Native Plant & Tree nursery for your retail needs.
